Author Biography
Born December 20, 1958, in Victoria, B.C., Canada, Elaine writes from an eclectic perspective drawn from her varied interests.

As a singer, writer and performer, Elaine melds her artistic sensitivities with her scientific veterinary background.

Elaine received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Some of her work involves reiki for animals and humans. A singer, writer and performer, her artistic sensitivities are melded beautifully with the scientific background. Elaine enjoys athletics and hands-on building and gardening projects. She combines both metaphysical and physical perspectives, bringing a love of all that is magic, whimsy and fantasy to her books.

Elaine believes that living in happiness is a life example for her two beautiful daughters. Life is always going to throw us curveballs, but when asked how life is going, Elaine is fond of saying that several of her dreams are coming true all at once. Crystal Lights: Awaken the Power is one of those dreams.
